Examples of some of the physical factors you need to be aware of:

  • Location, climate, contour, topography, aspect
  • Soil type and fertility (including past fertiliser history)
  • Drainage
  • Pasture species
  • Water supply
  • Contaminants and Residues
  • Fences and subdivision
  • Quality and presence of improvements - including yards, loading facilities, hay & implement cover
  • Weeds and Pests? with note of any regional issues (eg rats tail, groundsel etc)
